Play Big Or Do Not Play At All
Did you finally save up enough cash to move out into your own place? Congratulations are in order for you then! You may now enter into the realms of true bachelorhood like a real man. So you are not taking any of the children sized furniture with you, right? If you are, the first stop is to the dump with that junk.
Big boys play with big toys, and you have got to get into the big leagues to hit the long ball. No home runs lately? Not even many base hits? That is because you are still playing small ball. The majors are called the bigs for a reason, so start with a big couch or chair or something at the very least. A bigger beer mug does not count.
The smartest place to start living a bit larger than life is going to be the bedroom. With any luck you will be spending a lot of quality time in there, you know, sleeping and stuff. So get bigger things going on in it. Get a respectable quilt set on the bed. The grungy living in a van down by the river look is long gone for you.
And that new set ought to be a king quilt set while you are at it. Your old twin or full just will not be big enough for that company you are aiming for. Get something big enough to stretch out on for a change. Besides, you old mattress is lumpy and funky and stained with who knows what, and no body wants to know about it.
You want to get really big? Then go with a sleigh bed! These things are gigantic. They will fit the king size mattress, but it sits up off the floor a couple of feet. It is made of massive amount of lumber, and it can be an impressive site to behold. Impressive is always good, remember that.
Yes sir, it is a good time to put away childish things. When you get out on your own you can do things like the big boys do, right? Otherwise you should just stay at home with mom and dad until you are ready to step up some.
And when it comes right down to it, when the party is over and the shouting is through, it is really good to have a place to get some rest in. Big beds offer that more than anything else. Men who work hard and party hard will need some serious down time once in a while. When you do, go big there, too.
