Spring Clean Your Life For More Satisfaction

Are you guilty of trying to emulate super woman and do it all? Do you put other people’s needs ahead of your own and then wonder why you are tired, stressed and just a little bit cranky? It might be time to take some time out for yourself and audit your life and make a few key changes in it.

You cannot move at break neck speed forever. Often we will collapse into a heap and become exhausted, depressed, cranky or even physically ill. As well as doing the things you need to do, it is important to take moments for yourself and try new things.

If you take a look at your life and find the things that you think you can de-clutter and work on, then you will find that you are ultimately more happy, contented and less stressed. For some people this might mean having a makeover, taking up new past times, meeting new people, meeting up with old friends, changing career or making some lifestyle changes. Analyze what you need to work on in your life and start today!

Something that many women are guilty of is falling into a safety zone with their hair or makeup. Changing things up a bit can do wonders for your self esteem and body confidence. If you have been using the same beauty products or wearing the same hair style for more than two years, then you should attend a grooming workshop to get some fresh ideas for a makeover.

The next thing to do is to make sure that you have a regular exercise routine. Take up a new sport, join the gym, organize a walking group with some friends or anything else that interests you. By doing some exercise three times a week you will get fitter and look better as well as being healthier. Exercising also releases endorphins which make you feel happier.

Stay away from lose weight fast ploys as they are unlikely to work and they may sap your energy and make you feel worse. If you are wanting to lose some weight, then just stick to a balanced eating plan as well as exercising regularly. Take an audit of your diet and find ways to include more fresh produce and less processed foods: this will make you feel infinitely more energetic.

If you are busy all the time trying to get things done, you tend to forget about your interests and goals. Don’t neglect all the different aspects of your being: try to find something that you can do to enrich your emotional, intellectual, spiritual and physical aspects.

As well as looking after your physical appearance, you should take up a new hobby and expand your horizons to learn a new skill. This can do wonders for making you more energetic, self confident and happier. When you are involved in something new such as cake decorating classes, yoga, dancing, art classes or anything else that interests you, you are more stimulated and this carries over into other areas of your life too.
